In the fast paced digital age, that we live in today, there are many ways to access information about health, fitness and martial arts, all at our fingertips. But with so many re-sources at hand, it can get pretty overwhelming at times. Especially when you are trying to determine which and what information is best suited for you. Creating an information overload. On the other hand, sometimes finding not enough detailed information at all. Which can make you feel like you're chasing your own tail going around and around in circles, getting you nowhere. Quietly driving you crazy.
Living in this fast paced world. It's easy to forget about yourself and your well-being and need something to remind them to slow down. Many people have trained in martial arts as a way to balance their lifestyles or well-being, for hundreds of years, and still is just as effective today. But in my experience most have taken up the arts to learn hand to hand combat skills. After all, there's a huge comfort in knowing that you can handle yourself out there, or protect the people care and love for, if needed. But most of all knowing how to avoid those situations, in the first place. If you only remember one thing from this introduction, remember this,
"any week or strong person can break anyone, but only a strong person can make someone".
I don't know about you but it's the person that can make someone that wins my respect.
There are a lot of styles and forms of martial arts out there, and all have their different techniques and styles to achieve their different goals, making them all unique and special. In my opinion, they are, all fantastic to study and all have their own benefits to lifestyle, well-being and combat.
